How does Bottini Fuel Compare?
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) produces a weekly report of average fuel prices. You can see the full report or previous reports here. The following is an exceprt from the weekly summary for August 30, 2010.
Retail Petroleum Prices – On a statewide basis since the last survey on August 16th, prices decreased 0.8¢/gallon (0.3%) to 284.4¢/gallon for heating oil, 2.4¢/gallon (0.8%) to 312.3¢/gallon for kerosene, and 0.9¢/gallon (0.3%) to 256.3¢/gallon for propane. Compared to a year earlier, prices increased 24.3¢/gallon (9.3%) for heating oil, 18.4¢/gallon (6.3%) for kerosene, and 19.4¢/gallon (8.2%) for propane.
