The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) produces a weekly report of average fuel prices. You can see the full report or previous reports here. The following is an exceprt from the weekly summary for February 15, 2010.
Retail Petroleum Prices – On a statewide basis since the last survey on February 15th, prices increased 4.0¢/gallon (1.4%) to 296.3¢/gallon for heating oil and 1.3¢/gallon (0.4%) to 329.1¢/gallon for kerosene but decreased 0.4¢/gallon (0.1%) to 294.1¢/gallon for propane. Compared to a year earlier, prices increased 46.9¢/gallon (18.8%) for heating oil, 29.1¢/gallon (9.7%) for kerosene, and 23.8¢/gallon (8.8%) for propane.
