We also handle everything that needs to be done before the tank is removed, such as draining and cleaning it.

What size of heating oil tank do I need?

Each home is different when it comes to which heating oil tank it requires. The heating oil experts at Bottini Fuel will help you choose the right one for you. Here’s what we offer:

270-gallon tank: Standard 270-gallon heating oil tanks are 60 inches long, 27 inches wide and 44 inches high. These tanks also come in a horizontal version for low-clearance spaces. Those are 60 inches long, 44 inches wide and 27 inches high. A 270-gallon tank is recommended for smaller homes with one or two bedrooms.

330-gallon tank: The standard size for a 330-gallon heating oil tank is 72 inches long, 27 inches wide and 44 inches high. If your home has three or more bedrooms, this is the tank size you’ll need.

120-gallon and 250-gallon tanks: These are for homes that would normally have either a 270- or a 330-gallon tank, but where the space for the tank is too narrow. The 120-gallon tank is 30 inches long, 23 inches wide and 43 inches high. The 250-gallon tank is 60 inches long, 30 inches wide and 32 inches high. Because of the space constraints, you may need more frequent heating oil deliveries. However, Bottini Fuel eliminates any worry over your heating oil supply with our Automatic Delivery and wireless heating oil tank monitoring options.

Heating oil tank monitoring means that you’ll always have heating oil

Because you rely on heating oil to keep your home warm, you know that monitoring your tank’s fuel level is crucial. Running out of heating oil during a cold snap is not only inconvenient but can also lead to costly repairs and uncomfortable living conditions.

Enter wireless heating oil tank monitors from Bottini Fuel — an innovative solution designed to make your life easier.

Our Gremlin wireless tank monitors make having heating oil a piece of cake. They work with both Wi-Fi and cellular connections.

Once the sensor measures the oil level, the data is transmitted to Bottini Fuel and to you, via our smartphone app, providing real-time updates on your heating oil levels. You can check your oil levels anytime, anywhere you get a signal.

The monitor sends us (along with you, through the app) a notification when your heating oil supply reaches a predetermined level. When we get the notification, we promptly schedule a delivery to your home, ensuring that you never run out of fuel. You don’t have to do a thing!
