Bottini Fuels recently made the company’s 50th fuel delivery to a Hudson Valley veteran or military family as part of our Warming the Homefront program. To date, we’ve delivered over 5,000 gallons of free fuel to our neighbors.
The delivery marked a milestone for us as we work with the Hudson Valley Veterans Alliance (HVVA) toward our goal of aiding 200 local military families and veterans in need of heating assistance.
At Bottini, we’re always looking for ways to be a good neighbor and to improve quality of life in our communities, especially for those who have sacrificed so much so we could enjoy our day-to-day lives. We launched Homefront to show our appreciation for the service our veterans and military families given to us near and far.
Warming the Homefront is designed to get free heating oil or propane to veterans and families of currently deployed personnel. Working in partnership with the HVVA, Bottini will deliver 100 gallons of heating fuel to 50 families at no charge.
Beyond our initial commitment, the program will rely on donations and contributions, which will be used to purchase fuel at wholesale cost. No delivery charges will be made.
In other words, the more donations HVVA receives, the more families we can help! Some facts about your donation:
